Platformproviders play a central role in Diamond OA publishing. In addition to providing the necessary infrastructure, they offer tools and software that are, wherever possible, open source and supported by a community on a sustainable basis. Platform providers can serve as trusted sources for the Diamond Discovery Hub (DDH) and support the indexing of their hosted journals.
